Support your Local Library

This is a fundraiser to support all the youth programming that the Delta Public Library provides for the community. It takes place every year in November, the Thursday before Thanksgiving.

Thank you to the Friends of the Delta Public Library, those who volunteer to help, donate items, baskets, food for the luncheon, and participate in the auction. Thank you to the Delta American Legion for providing a space for our auction.

It has been a trying couple of years for everyone and we at the library and Friends of the library appreciate all the support, patience and understanding from our wonderful community. See below for changes that have been made to our regular routine to help keep our patrons, staff, and volunteers safer.

Please bring any donations for this year's auction by Friday, November 12th. We appreciate all the support from our community and local businesses!

Regarding masks: Library staff must wear masks. Others attending, if unvaccinated are encouraged to wear a mask.

Auction Preview Wednesday, Nov. 16th

For those who work or have school the following day or those who want to register and get their tickets early.

  • Ticket sales end at 630p
  • Doors close at 7p

Auction & Luncheon Thursday, Nov. 17th

For safety, the friends have decided to serve the main entree from the kitchen including the sides. Participants of the auction are asked to bring a dessert if they wish to contribute to the meal. Donations during the luncheon are appreciated.

Tickets are $0.25 each

*participants are not expected to be present during the drawing but we do expect any winnings to be picked up as soon as possible. If items are not picked up, they will carted to the library and will be available for pick up during open hours.
